Facilities
The HBCSE Library provides the following facilities for the staff members:
Current Awareness Service:
News paper clippings : Library subscribes to 15 daily and weekly newspapers, which are
regularly scanned for important articles related to Education, Environmental
Science, Science & Technology etc. and these articles are displayed on the library notice board. Subject-wise files are maintained for these clippings.
New books display : The books added to the library collection are regularly displayed and the list is sent to the users.

Article alert :
Article indexing is done for the journals received in the library. This is searchable on Library OPAC.
Institutional Memberships :
The Library has institutional membership for the following libraries -
Inter Library Loan (ILL) :
Books which are not available in HBCSE library, but are available in nearby libraries can be procured on ILL.
Photocopying :
Library provides photocopy facility for the staff members and on payment
for outsiders (only for Journal Articles).

Procurement of Books:
The Library also procures personal books for staff members and students (HBCSE) from their book grants from time to time.
